Overview

The pharmaceutical business is one of the most competitive in the world. It's not only other companies which can impact your growth; it's government regulation, changing prescriptive habits, and the demands of bringing your product to profit within its usable patent life. Well informed, intelligence-driven strategy is crucial to success – and that is where competitive intelligence (CI) comes in. CI helps drive decision-making processes across therapy franchise level, corporate level and in R&D. CI influences business development and brand management, among other areas. CI identifies market risks as well as business growth opportunities.
